MY BEGINNINGS
I was born and raised in the Midwest in a lively blue collar town right outside of Chicago called Joliet, IL. I moved to Atlanta with my wife Brandy and our puppy Riley in 2012 and have been a lover of the south ever since.
MY CAREER
I've spent my 15 year career in management and advertising - most recently with 8 years as the Director of Sales & Business Strategy for the Southeast for Platinum Equity and its advertising subsidiary, Valpak. During which time I successfully managed a multi-million dollar sales division, partnering with developing ad campaigns for such Fortune 500 companies as The Home Depot, Delta Airlines, Chase Bank, and American Express.
In 2016, I started Patrick Properties, a real estate investment company specializing in the acquisition and management of single-family and mid-size multi-family homes throughout Metro Atlanta.
MY CAUSES
In 2019 I co-founded the nonprofit organization Beyond Broken. It was started by my wife and I after years of us dealing with her clinical depression and bipolar disorder in GA where medical care for mental illness is historically substandard. Our goal was to create an organization that could raise awareness for mental health and help those dealing with illness find quality care. Unfortunately, my wife lost her battle with mental illness and passed away in March of 2020. Since then, I have devoted my life and my time not just to Beyond Broken but to many other great organizations that aim to help those struggling with mental illnesses throughout Georgia.
